For over three decades, Paul Hiltz has served as a symbol for innovative leadership within the healthcare industry. Cultural transformations over the years – through strategic partnerships.
Today, he serves as the CEO and President of Naples Comprehensive Health (NCH) in Naples, Florida, recognized as one of the nation’s top 100 healthcare systems. Prior to joining NCH in 2019, Paul served as the President and CEO of Mercy Medical Center. His commitment has always been clear – maintaining the highest standards in clinical quality and patient satisfaction.
From northern Kentucky, Paul attended Xavier University for graduate school in health administration. He’s also a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Paul has been described as one of the best turnaround healthcare executives in America. He resides in Naples, Florida.

Career in Hospital Administration Begins

2017
President and CEO of Mercy Medical Center
He held several roles as a Senior Executive with Mercy Health (formerly Catholic Health Partners) in Cincinnati, Ohio. He served in multiple capacities including President and CEO of Mercy Hospital – Mt. Airy and President and CEO of the Springfield Ohio Region, where he was responsible for two acute care hospitals, two skilled nursing facilities, and a free-standing cancer center.
Mr. Hiltz was responsible for implementing and heading Mercy Health’s Accountable Care Organization, Mercy Health Select, one of the top ACO’s in the United States.
